So yesterday V debuted their new costumes and they are... SO SIMPLE! I have never sewn clothing before (just added decorations and did minor alterations) but I have the confidence that I can make Hizaki's. I already found patterns for everything, and since I got to see the costume up close I know what material it uses (and it's cheap).
I am not even finished with HG and already I am considering something new... lol
Maybe I should put it off until the fall or so, but by then I think they will have new outfits for their album in August.
Well, for now, I am going to eat lunch then continue working on HG! All I am doing at the moment is securi

Busy, not much time left

The next time I plan to wear my costume is on the 6th of May, but I have made no progress in reconstructing the bodice!
The cross was wrong so I took it off completely and was working on sewing it back on but I have been swamped with massive translations that take days to complete so I haven't gotten to sew (or watch trash television, which is my fuel to work!)
I still have a huge list of things that need to be done before I do any photoshoots...
Put the cross back on
Iron on the crystals
Reattach the appliques to the bodice because they weren't attached very well
Remove the roses from the upper part of the collar and attach the motifs

Actually the costume was a commission but I am making adjustments to it. I will definitely be taking part in some photo shoots in that dress!
In the future I hope to make my own costumes entirely. I have learned a lot from working on this one.
